Aid Worker's Handbook
The Handbook of International Aid Agencies is intended to give MSF volunteers a few essentials to help acquaint them -or better acquaint them- with the humanitarian organisations, UN agencies, and funding bodies whose actions have an impact on MSF missions, or whom they are likely to encounter. In order to avoid what would be perceived as the 'MSF doctrine' on these institutions, we have used information that each institution provides about itself, via their website, presentation brochure or donor newsletter. This manual gives the general references upon which, in principle, these agencies rely for their decisions and practices - whilst leaving volunteers to make their own opinions on these various agencies on a case-by-case basis.
